What Information We Collect

When you sign up on our registration page, we collect a username, password, and email address. We collect your first and last name. Once you're registered and using the site regularly, we collect measurements that you may enter, like your positive and negative feelings etc. Our service lets you publicly disclose any information you voluntarily provide. Our contact page lets you provide your email address and other diverse information that you wish to give to us in order to respond to your questions or comments.

This site uses Cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent back and forth between our website and your computing device to distinguish you from other users. We use cookies to simplify the process of establishing a session when you log into your account. As long as you are logged in and interacting with the site, a cookie is being sent back and forth to your computer.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to identify you as a user of the website and to organize it and present it back to you. For example, when you enter your measurements, we use that information to create your charts and analytics. We also use your information to contact you when you request assistance or to inform you of events or changes on the site. We may review your data for purposes of product development, service improvement, or other purposes related to our business.

We provide the ability for you to share information with service providers through our Platform. You may share personal mood data as well as data related to specific sessions with providers. You may stop sharing your data at any time. Any session data shared will be de-identified, but remain included as part of that provider’s anonymized, aggregated analytics.

We may also provide the ability for you to share information with other individuals through our Platform. You may stop sharing your data at any time, and your data will no longer be available to those individuals.

Your information may be disclosed in aggregated form publicly or to third parties. When this is done, no personally identifying information is ever disclosed. This aggregate de-identified information may be disclosed to other users of the site or to current or potential business partners.

If you are a service provider, your session data will be displayed in a personal dashboard. The system may also provide you analytics about that data visible only to you and additional services based on that data. Participation in any additional service will be at your discretion.

Data Security

All your data are currently only accessible by you, Healify, Inc., and anyone you chose to share it with through our site. All data are encrypted at rest and in transit. Data management is operated by AWS IAM. At rest, our database is encrypted using an encryption key stored in AWS KMS. In transit, it is protected by TLS 1.2 with an industry-standard AES-256 cipher.

Data Breach

If we believe your data has been compromised, we will notify you promptly of the suspected breach. We will also take measures to investigate and mitigate any deleterious effect of the unauthorized use or disclosure of your data.

Children

Our site is designed for people who are at least 13 years old and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifying information from children under the age of 13. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) prohibits us from knowingly collecting personally identifying information from children under the age of 13. However, a provision in the act does allow children to use the site if parents or legal guardians follow the steps below:

  1. Sign up for an account on behalf of your child.
  2. Post a paper letter to us specifying the following items:
    1. You grant your child permission to use Healify.org.
    2. You tell us the username you signed up for in step 1.
    3. You sign your name on the letter.
    4. You include your email address so we can let you know when your child can start using his or her Healify.org account. Please contact us at [email protected] for our mailing address.
  3. We will notify you via the email address provided in your letter when it is OK to allow your child to use the site.

Your Privacy Options

You can review and modify your personally identifying information using features provided in the site (i.e. you may edit your account details through the Profile Screen). You can use alias information to protect your identity if you wish. You may request to opt-out of communications by contacting us at [email protected]. "Opting-Out" means that you will be removed from all future e-mailings and you will not be contacted.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the bottom of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
